We are seeking a highly motivated Test Analyst to join our team at Tait Communications. As a Test Analyst, you will play a key role in creating high-value products, solutions, and services for our clients. You will achieve this by applying your expertise in testing techniques and principles, ensuring that our solutions are innovative, reliable, and meet the highest standards of quality.
Test Analysts focus on validating our products and solutions by answering the question, "Will it work?" You will develop a deep understanding of our clients' needs and operating environments, using this knowledge to drive effective validation strategies and testing processes.
As part of a cross-functional team, you may be involved in:
- Developing new solutions and services for specific clients or markets.
- Maintaining, supporting, and updating existing solutions.
- Assessing third-party and partner products.
- Supporting the deployment and delivery of our solutions to specific clients.
- Providing ongoing service delivery to our client.

Ō pūkenga - About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant experience in software testing or a related field.
You will also bring:
- Expertise in foundation-level testing and the product development life cycle.
- Strong domain knowledge with at least one area of deep expertise.
- A commitment to continuous learning, both broadening and deepening your knowledge base.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, including acting as a test champion or scrum master when required.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective test strategies using tools and methodologies suited to the operating context.
Experience with the following techniques and tools is highly desirable:
- Concurrent Test Design
- Modelling (state, coverage, etc.)
- Pair Testing
- Automated and Manual Scripted Testing
- Effective Issue Reporting and Analysis
- Stakeholder and Peer Reviews
