Job Description

About the role

We are currently looking for an Engineer to join the team at our Motueka Site.

You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairing plant equipment to minimise downtime and improve overall plant efficiency.

Hourly rate ranges from $35 - $40, based on your experience and qualification, as well as on call allowances.

As a Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day maintenance of the plant
• Reporting breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks through the software-based system
• Ensuring the production downtime is kept minimal
• Maintaining relationships with the internal and external stakeholders
• Following the health and safety/food safety procedures

Qualifications

For this role, you’ll need:

• Engineering Trade
• Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering experience
• FMCG or Secondary Industry (Food Processing) experience would be advantageous
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Efficiency and organisation
