Based in the Auckland Transport Operations Centre (ATOC), one of the key objectives of the Events team is to ensure best temporary traffic management (TTM) outcomes for a wide range of events and filming activities. We also aim to lead the way in more innovative approaches to TTM, driving truly efficient and effective delivery of TTM activity for events and filming. At the very heart of everything we do is the goal of improving network and customer outcomes .
The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
The key purpose of this role is to support our TTM function to deliver an exceptional level of customer service to the event, filming, and TTM industries.
The work will be varied, and you will be responsible for a range of tasks including inbox and workflow management, review and approval of traffic management plans (TMPs) for event and filming activity, and producing regulatory parking related reports. You will work onsite at events ensuring effective delivery of TTM and will complete audits of TMPs across Auckland.
Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to work evenings, public holidays and weekends as required and must have a full driver's license.

Appointment base salary is from $75,000- $80,000 per annum (with KiwiSaver employer contribution of 3% on top of base salary).

Based at Smales Farm in Takapuna, ATOC is a 24/7 operation responsible for real-time monitoring of the network for both planned and unplanned events, ensuring the right responses are made in a timely manner to deliver safe journeys for our customers. Additionally, this centre is the eyes and ears of the urban and highway One Network, monitoring a total of over 11,000km of state highways, alongside the Wellington Transport Operation Centre (WTOC).
