This is a fixed term opportunity until 24th December 2025.
This role is based in Auckland. Who are we Te Taurapa Tūhono | New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is the government agency charged with helping New Zealand businesses to grow internationally.  What you'll be doing Reporting to the Director – Strategy and Programme Management, you will sit within our Centre of Excellence for project and change management, charged with leading the most impactful change initiatives across NZTE. Your primary focus will be enabling the successful implementation of our Customer Way roadmap - the operating model that guides how NZTE interacts with our customers to drive export growth.
The Strategy and Project Lead’s mahi includes clearly scoping the work to be done, driving clear deliverables, guiding teams to execute well, managing key stakeholder relationships and ensuring our customers and people benefit from project outcomes through solid change management expertise.  What you'll need to be successfulYou are passionate about delivering projects that help implement an organisation's strategy, ideally having a proven background at managing projects or programmes of work. You will bring a wealth of experience running change processes, leading through influence and being able to manage and juggle multiple priorities and perspectives.
You will be an expert at building relationships and developing collaboration and trust across project teams and senior stakeholders right across the business. You will be a superstar organiser, highly detailed and adaptable, and be known as accountable to move at pace to deliver.
