Job Description

Summerset Boulcott is looking for an experienced Gardener to join the property team at our village on a casual basis across the week. 

You'll ideally be a skilled gardener who can assist during high-demand periods.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring well-maintained, beautiful gardens and landscapes, including weeding, trimming, planting, cutting, and general gardening tasks.
• Keeping the buildings, grounds, and amenities clean and tidy for residents, families, and staff to enjoy.
• Providing input on the best planting options for the village gardens.
• Maintaining a professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor with residents and their families.

This is a casual role, working on an 'as needed' basis, particularly during peak growth periods and to cover staff leave.

Qualifications

About You:

Ideally, you will have gardening or landscaping experience. However, more importantly, you’ll have a genuine passion for creating great environments and an appreciation for people from all walks of life. Flexibility is key, as work hours will vary based on seasonal demands and team availability.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
 -  A collaborative and team-player attitude
 -  Excellent time management to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
 -  A good level of physical fitness to handle gardening duties
 -  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
 -   Experience in maintaining beautiful gardens, whether domestically or commercially
 -   A passion for creating enjoyable, well-kept outdoor spaces for our residents
