Job Description
About the Role:
The primary purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor role is to provide leadership in the development and execution of stock distribution and receiving systems, aligning with PPNZ and Stowers' lean manufacturing goals. This entails overseeing warehousing, inwards and outwards goods operations, managing product distribution to customers, and facilitating inter-site movements.
Additionally, the role involves leading team development and process enhancement initiatives, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency, managing key relationships, and conducting regular stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Efficient and effective leadership of warehousing, inwards, and outwards goods operations.
- Managing 3PL storage for PPNZ.
- Timely and accurate management of product distribution to customers and inter-site movements.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing a multiskilled cross-functional team in day-to-day tasks.
- Implementing cost control measures to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Adherence to quality management systems and procedures
- Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Regularly executing stocktakes and warehouse cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Proven work experience in warehouse supervision.
- Leadership experience
- Forklift License (Reach and Counterbalance)
- Understanding of Health &Safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Awareness of AS/NZ ISO 9000 standard requirements
- Positive attitude
- AP Certified would be an advantage but not essential.

- Regular daytime 8:00am to 4:30pm working hours - Monday to Friday (Must be flexible to work overtime occasionally to support the team).
