Class 5 Truck Driver - Motueka

Company Description

Due to increased workload there is an opportunity available for an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join the Talleys Freight Team, operating one of the well maintained trucks in our modern fleet.  Based in Motueka the role has plenty of variety and you will be key member of our friendly team.

You will need to be available to regularly work one weekend day, and stay away overnight on some occasions.  We are looking for someone who is flexible with an easy going nature.

Job Description

As a Class 5 Truck driver, you will be responsible for:

• The safe loading, unloading & cartage of a variety of frozen and chilled products and other general freight.
• Following all relevant safety and compliance regulations
• Completing online and physical paperwork to the highest standard
• Keeping yourself and your truck clean and tidy

Qualifications

For this role, you’ll need to:

• Hold a Class 5 full licence
• 'F' endorsement and OSH certified would be an advantage
• Have experience operating b-trains and/or curtainsiders
• To work unsupervised & efficiently and follow processes
• A positive mindset and enthusiastic work ethic
• Be punctual, reliable, and organised
• Be well presented and take pride in your ride
• Have a strong focus on Health & Safety
• Be physically fit
