About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance
The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system. Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a technologically savvy individual to provide strong day-to-day technical support to the ASM. You will be the first point of call for all internal and external customer technical support required for computer workstation hardware and software, telephone, network, operating system, printing, and Internet access problems.
In this role you will be presented with a wide range of unique issues; therefore, you must be able to think critically and quickly under pressure and be well equipped to respond to all technical queries. You must also have strong people skills and be motivated to go above and beyond to help our people.
What you will be doing:
As an ICT Support Analyst, you will have a variety of responsibilities and accountabilities including:
Day to day operation of helpdesk duties, working with staff and partner organisations.
Maintaining written procedures and checklists for all aspects of the support position.
Training of staff for basic ICT requirements and products.
Devices support – Windows PCs, tablets (Android and iOS), mobile and IoT devices.
Application support of business applications
Special projects and assignments as directed by management.
Administration of Azure and Microsoft 365 environment
Performs installs, upgrades, moves, and changes for hardware and software.
Routine maintenance and monitoring to ensure that networks operate efficiently.
Troubleshoot wide and local area networks, and internet systems.
Liaison with external ICT providers to resolve issues and optimise performance of systems.
Set up and support of remote and satellite offices throughout the region.
Acquiring necessary equipment to ensure continued efficient operation.

You will have the below skills and qualifications:
Tertiary Qualification or certification in information technology or computer science, or equivalent experience.
A background in collaborating with people in a complex and challenging environment.
Knowledge of products including Azure, 365, DHCP, DNS and networking.
Knowledge of windows OS and the windows server environment.
Minimum 1 years’ experience in supporting Salesforce custom apps
Minimum 1 years’ experience in SharePoint administration. Monitor SharePoint Online (SPO) performance and storage usage, site configuration and migration, providing support to business users.
Minimum 1 years’ experience of user management administration on Dynamic Finance & Operation 365 and Customer Engagement 365.
Minimum 1 years’ experiences and skills in Fortinet platform, network management using Fortinet products is essential.
Knowledge of public and private networks, such as MPLS and SD-WAN
IT inventory management with the Sortly app
Minimum 1 years’ experience technical support with the Freshdesk platform
Working knowledge of ArcGIS, RAMM
Working knowledge of road maintenance activities, site safety and correct use of PPE
Experience working in an Alliance environment with a customer first focus
Must focus on resolving issue onsite, ability to troubleshoot within short timeframe and liaise with other support resources if needed
Ability to transfer technical language into plain language and support frontline crews
Ability to build relationships with different organisations to facilitate specific IT requirements
Full NZ driving license
The salary banding for this role is between $60,000 - $70,000 per annum. This is a full-time permanent position working a minimum of 40 hours per week. Based in Ellerslie, Auckland.
