The Sales chapter are recruiting for a Senior Sales Specialist (Loyalty) to join the team based in Auckland. The Senior Sales Specialist is responsible for expanding loyalty-based revenue within the Financial Partner segment and acts as the primary strategic link between the company and our major Airpoints financial partnerships. In this role, you will oversee multiple portfolios, apply strong forecasting and P&L management skills, and identify areas of opportunity for growth for our leading loyalty programme. You will communicate these growth strategies to partners and guide their successful implementation. This position requires a blend of relationship management, sales strategy, contract oversight, and marketing expertise.

Role responsibilities: 

  • Increased Loyalty-Driven Revenue: Achieve and exceed revenue targets by identifying and executing growth opportunities within financial partner portfolios
  • Accurate Forecasting & P&L Management: Deliver precise revenue and profit forecasts, and maintain oversight of financial performance to ensure profitability
  • Growth Strategies & Implementation Plans: Develop clear, data-informed strategies for partner growth and translate them into actionable implementation roadmaps
  • Enhanced Partner Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with major Airpoints financial partners
  • Effective Contract & Portfolio Oversight: Ensure contract terms are met, regularly reviewed, and updated for clarity and compliance across multiple partner portfolios
  • Integrated Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate on marketing strategies that support loyalty programs, from campaign development through to execution and performance measurement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, marketing) to deliver cohesive loyalty solutions and maintain operational excellence
  • Measurable Program & Portfolio Growth: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as enrolments, engagement, and partner-driven revenue to demonstrate portfolio progress and growth.

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Demonstrated success in driving commercial revenue
  • Previous experience working with or in the financial services sector, with knowledge of relevant regulations and industry dynamics
  • Solid experience in creating accurate sales forecasts, managing budgets, and overseeing P&L to achieve profitability targets
  • Comfort with reviewing and maintaining contracts, ensuring compliance, clarity of deliverables, and mutual benefit for partners
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, product, marketing) to deliver seamless loyalty solutions
  • 5+ years in roles encompassing sales, account/partnership management, or loyalty program leadership, with a portion of that in the financial industry or a similarly regulated environment.
