Chief Executive Advisor, Office of the Chief Executive, Wellington

 


•    Secondment or Fixed Term for 12 months

 

•    Based at National Office in Wellington

 

 

 

Are you keen to provide advice and work closely with the Leadership Team and the Chief Executive?

 

Would you thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment at the heart of the Ministry?

 

As a Chief Executive Advisor you will be part of a team of advisors working for the Director of the Chief Executive’s Office to provide high quality strategic advice on a range of portfolio areas to the Chief Executive. 

 

You will be expected to also work closely with business units across the Ministry of Social Development within your delegated portfolio area to ensure advice is robust, accurate and timely.   

 

Adaptability and comfort working at pace to provide sound advice and facilitate solutions to complex policy and organisational challenges will be key to your success in this role. You should also be able to think strategically about Ministry priorities, build and maintain strong working relationships across a range of stakeholders, communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and understand how to measure and mitigate risk.
