Inwards Grocery Assistant - New World Motueka

An opportunity has arisen to join our busy storeroom team!

The Inwards Goods Assistant role is integral to maintain accurate store inventory data, therefore a strong appreciation of systems and processes is extremely important.

The key tasks for this role are:

• Receipting in products to our shop and inventory.
• Maintaining all records, including temperature checks.
• Unloading of Trucks
• Movement of stock.
• Ensuring a safe environment for staff and delivery personnel.
• Liaising with departments regarding their deliveries.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good computer knowledge and systems understanding.
• An ability to cope well under pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Good organisational skills.
• Forklift licence
