What does a successful Senior Test Engineer do at Fiserv?

This position plays a core role in the software delivery process for the Product development team. The purpose of this position is to ensure all Fiserv digital banking products released reaches the quality standard required by the company. You will be required to write, maintain, and execute automated tests and be able to report on these results as well as support manual Test Engineering activities. The secondary purpose of this position is that you will be expected to provide support for performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional test activities.

What you will do:

• This position plays a core role in the software delivery process for the Product development team.
• The purpose of this position is to ensure all Fiserv mobile banking products released reaches the quality standard required by the company.
• You will be required to write, maintain, and execute automated tests as well as support manual QA activities.
• You will be expected to provide support for performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional test activities.
• You will be required to respond to occasional requests for additional off-hour work in development of the event of an emergency client incident or critical business need wider QA team through mentoring and guidance.

What you will need to have:

• Testing fundamentals a must have
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Rapid Software Testing techniques.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence
• Proficiency in API, Web, Mobile testing principles and tools
• Proficiency with Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery practices within Azure Devops
• Ability to plan and execute Integration testing with 3rd party systems.
• Expertise in building and maintaining Web and API test automation frameworks using C# and .NET technologies.
• Background as a .Net developer ideal.
• Performance testing experience cloud-based and on-prem platforms desirable but not required.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services such as Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Postman, SoapUI, Rest API/Microservices exploratory testing · Experience with using Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience with Docker, Octopus.

What Would Be Great To Have:

• Technical leadership/coaching scrum teams experience a plus
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders from different levels (e.g. Directors, Managers, Product Owners, Devs, BA, etc.)
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or relevant work experience.
