We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join the Farmlands team in a full time permanent position based in our Wairakei Road support office. 

Working within manufacturing operations, the role will report to the Head of Manufacturing and include:

  • Designing, Implementing and managing quality assurance processes to ensure certification is maintained in our areas of responsibility
  • Working with a wide range of people and teams across Farmlands including Mills Managers, Inventory Specialists,  Maintenance and Production teams.
  • Engaging with our suppliers ensuring our brands meet internal quality requirements
  • Ensure all quality issues are identified, investigated, measured, monitored and resolved

Mōhou ake | About you

You will  be an inspiring consultative leader with an open door attitude towards others.  Ideally you will have a commercial manufacturing background with 5 years experience in managing Quality Assurance systems and have a process engineering qualification or similar.   

  • Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principals
  • Excellent Literacy and numeracy and computer skills 
  • Prepared to listen to others with an ability to influence 
  • Rural or Agricultural affinity 
  • ISO9001 audit capability skills
