We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join the Farmlands team in a full time permanent position based in our Wairakei Road support office.
Working within manufacturing operations, the role will report to the Head of Manufacturing and include:
- Designing, Implementing and managing quality assurance processes to ensure certification is maintained in our areas of responsibility
- Working with a wide range of people and teams across Farmlands including Mills Managers, Inventory Specialists, Maintenance and Production teams.
- Engaging with our suppliers ensuring our brands meet internal quality requirements
- Ensure all quality issues are identified, investigated, measured, monitored and resolved
Mōhou ake | About you
You will be an inspiring consultative leader with an open door attitude towards others. Ideally you will have a commercial manufacturing background with 5 years experience in managing Quality Assurance systems and have a process engineering qualification or similar.
- Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principals
- Excellent Literacy and numeracy and computer skills
- Prepared to listen to others with an ability to influence
- Rural or Agricultural affinity
- ISO9001 audit capability skills
