Nurse Practitioner – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit,
Dunedin Hospital
Salary Band – $136,815 - $162,802 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver
- Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week)

About the role
- Assist in improving client health and reducing health inequalities and clinical risk for service users with identified high risk and complex health needs,
- Providing consultancy, clinical leadership, and skilled advanced nursing practice,
- Actively work on strengthening partnerships/alliances with internal and external stakeholders,
- Development of alternative models of care
- Demonstrate advanced nursing leadership and mentorship,
- Deliver on the objectives of the national health strategy,
- Collaborate with and work under the guidance of the Neonatal SMO team,
- Contribute to the research agenda within the neonatal service

- Be a Neonatal trained Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to successfully engage and empathise with families/whānau in a positive manner,
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of NZ Health strategies,

Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between ($136,815 p.a) and ($162,802 p.a pro rata) of the Nurse Practitioners Scale.
