Head Chef - PAK'NSAVE Blenheim

A new position has opened at Pak n Save Blenheim, we are seeking to provide high-quality, ready-to-eat meals, deli and catering selections to our customers. We are seeking a creative and skilled Head Chef to lead our supermarket meals and deli department, ensuring top tier quality. Innovation, and efficiency in prepared foods.

Pak n Save Blenheim is locally owned and operated, providing locals with NZ’s lowest food prices.

We are a team of dedicated people striving to continuously improve our operations, upskill our staff and create an environment of mutual learning.

The successful applicant will lead a small production team, can document recipe guides to ensure products are safe for customers’ allergies. Able to adapt meals and recipes to use products that are seasonably available.

This position involves:

• Preparation and handling of food product
• Packaging and presentation of products
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Maintaining our high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
• The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Work well under pressure and at a fast pace
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Have excellent customer service & communication skills
• Be a team player
• Comply with our Health & Safety and Food Safety programmes

Requirements:

• Qualified Chef
• Be eligible to work in New Zealand
• Be physically fit
• A passion for delivery high quality products consistently
• Great attendance record
• Have a positive, helpful attitude.

There is currently one full time position available.

Full Time: Hours of work:

Tuesday 7am –3.30pm

Wednesday 7am – 3.30pm

Thursday 7am- 3.30pm

Thursday 7am- 3.30pm

Friday 7am-3.30pm

Saturday 7am-3.30pm
