Job Description

About the role

We are looking for Seafood Process Workers to join the team at our Blenheim site for the mussel season.

Your Hourly rate will range from $24.50 - $25.51, based on your experience and qualifications.

Contract piece rates apply when opening mussels.

As a Seafood Process Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Manual handling of product
• Operation of processing machinery
• Blanching, packing, and opening of mussels
• Monitoring of food safety and quality
• Training new staff and leading a team (when trained and competent)

Qualifications

For this role, you’ll need:

• Seafood processing qualifications/experience is advantageous
• Reliable transportation
