Are you a strategic planner who is passionate about data analysis and governance in for large enterprise platforms?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Strategist and Analyst to join our team. In your role, you are pivotal in driving the clean-up and migration of customer, account and entitlement data from legacy systems to new systems, ensuring data integrity and alignment with best practices. You will bring your expertise in data management, strategic planning, and data analysis with projects involving data migration.
What You Will Do

Data Strategy and Analysis:
Analyze subscription data in our current legacy systems and how transactional and entitlement data is being stored
Develop a data migration strategy how to migrate the transactional subscription data from our Oracle ERP system into a new SalesForce instance
Plan the entitlement data migration into a new entitlement management system
Provide recommendations for a successful migration process
Develop and implement data strategies to support business objectives
Drive and support the creation of dashboards to generate stakeholder defined insights
Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement

Data Migration and Clean-Up:
Facilitate the clean-up and validation of data from legacy systems in preparation of the migration
Prepare underlying data for migration to the new systems
Uncover and resolve data incompatibility issues
Investigate enrichment opportunities
Identify or develop tools to help with the migration
Help validate the results after the migration and make sure the data is correct

Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and identify solutions
Assist with data challenges and projects from stakeholders and come up with recommendations and solutions by identifying, combining and manipulating dataset from various sources
Analyze the data around business processes and make recommendations on how to optimize current business flows
Communicate data findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner

Database Management:
Ensure new databases are set up to align with industry best practices
Collaborate with IS and database administrators to optimize database performance and integrity

Data Governance and Quality:
Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.
Assist in other data review and clean-up activities across the team.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience in data management, data migration, and database setup
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau)
Experience in DOMO, SalesForce and Oracle
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
What Skills & Experience You Could Bring
Experience in subscription data and insights
Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions
Certification in data management or data analysis
