About the role
We have an exciting opportunity within TSI, for a suitable qualified Class 5 driver to join our Dunedin team. This role will suit someone who is looking to advance their career within the transport industry, who is organised, able to work to deadlines and thrive when faced with a challenge. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- To deliver all goods loaded onto your vehicle within the expected timeframe
- Promoting the professional image of the company to other staff and clients
- To provide or assist with the loading and or/unloading of your vehicle at any site when required
- Ensure that all cargo is carefully checked against paperwork, temperatures are checked (where applicable) and the load is securely restrained
- A mix of yard duties and driving dependent on daily requirements
Key skills/attributes:
- Class 5 Linehaul experience essential
- Be able to work well within a team
- Must have DG endorsement
- Must have OSH forklift certificate as a minimum, however preference would be given to people with a F endorsement
- Customer focused
Starting rate: $31.50+ dependent on experience.
