The opportunity:
As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for the assessment and ongoing management of claims and risk exposure for AIA. You will manage all claims in a timely, innovative and empathetic manner, whilst working proactively with clients to develop and implement outcome-focused case management plans.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing overflow claims and the successful co-ordination of our customers' return to work
Focusing on delivering exceptional customer experience in line with the philosophy of looking to pay all legitimate claims
Managing the assessment of a complex high-value claims portfolio
Liaising with appropriate medical providers, financial providers and external parties (e.g. ACC or insurance companies) to obtain relevant claim information
Undertaking regular client visits around New Zealand to build and maintain strong relationships with our customers
Ensuring our customers receive clear and concise information to assist them through the claims process, in a timely manner
Confidence talking to specialists and providers to plan our customers' rehabilitation
Undertaking a multidisciplinary holistic approach to case management.
Ideally, you'll bring:
5 years+ claims' experience
Insurance, financial services or health industry experience (preferred)
Clean full NZ Driver License
Strong computer skills
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
