The opportunity:

As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for the assessment and ongoing management of claims and risk exposure for AIA. You will manage all claims in a timely, innovative and empathetic manner, whilst working proactively with clients to develop and implement outcome-focused case management plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing overflow claims and the successful co-ordination of our customers' return to work

  • Focusing on delivering exceptional customer experience in line with the philosophy of looking to pay all legitimate claims

  • Managing the assessment of a complex high-value claims portfolio

  • Liaising with appropriate medical providers, financial providers and external parties (e.g. ACC or insurance companies) to obtain relevant claim information

  • Undertaking regular client visits around New Zealand to build and maintain strong relationships with our customers

  • Ensuring our customers receive clear and concise information to assist them through the claims process, in a timely manner

  • Confidence talking to specialists and providers to plan our customers' rehabilitation

  • Undertaking a multidisciplinary holistic approach to case management.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • 5 years+ claims' experience

  • Insurance, financial services or health industry experience (preferred)

  • Clean full NZ Driver License

  • Strong computer skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
