About the role

Team Global Express are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic Regional Pallet Controller, looking after the national pallet controls, compliance and process improvement. We an 18 month fixed-term position available. Hours of work is 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The day to day tasks for this role will include coordinating and monitoring all aspects of pallets, assisting the national pallet team through reporting, documenting, training and auditing pallet procedures; aimed at working smarter and minimising rental costs. To succeed in this role you will be able to communicate effectively and maintain good working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Following health and safety policies
  • Management of pallet accounts
  • Pallet process training, development and compliance
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service is achieved
  • Accurate and timely record keeping
  • Identifying, monitoring and improving equipment movements

Key Skills & Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the Transport or Logistics industry
  • Tertiary qualification in Transport or Logistics (preferred, not essential)
  • Experience with pallet tracking (preferred, not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and information technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with 2IC pallet software (preferred, not essential)
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret information
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude showing resilience and adaptability
  • Excellent time management skills
