Job Description
We are committed to our purpose and strategy and through this mahi are seeking a Kaitaki Kaupapa Mātāmuri Junior Project Manager to support large complex projects, contributing to the planning, execution and delivery of initiatives within Z.
This is a fixed term role for 6 months based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington. We are seeking demonstrated project management experience in a commercial environment with the availability for a quick start and the ability to commit to a fixed term.
We work at scale and operate in a rapidly changing environment, if you are seeking a dynamic role focused on delivering value while utilising agile ways of working lets kōrero.
You will have the opportunity to
- Contribute to project planning and milestones
- Provide advice on delivery approaches and define objectives, expectations and success criteria
- Work collaboratively to gather requirements, assess feasibility, define deliverables and ensure integration
- Communicate project progress and encourage feedback from stakeholders
- Assist with resource requirements throughout projects and provide reporting
- Provide guidance and support while fostering an agile mindset and promoting continuous improvement
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to Z
- Demonstrated experience at least two years’ experience of supporting and managing large complex projects proving leadership and governance
- A strong stakeholder manager with the ability to identify, plan and implement actions designed to engage a range of people
- The ability to work collaboratively, to bring others on the journey, foster active participation and build open channels of communication
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, knowledge of Agile would be advantageous
- Commercial acumen with a lens of a strategic business focus
- The energy to work with a rapidly changing environment and with ambiguity

The base salary range for this role is $96,900 to $114,000 per annum, we also offer a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
