As a Brand Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our marketing plan strategies. You will be responsible for various marketing initiatives, including planning and executing above-the-line and below-the-line campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. Your efforts will help build our Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) and drive business outcomes.

 

  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute above-the-line and below-the-line campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Product Propositions: Develop and promote new offers and product propositions that align with our brand strategy.
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones through targeted marketing efforts.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Develop and deliver marketing plans to drive customer acquisition, retention, and increased share of wallet.
  • Understand customer attitudes and behaviours to ensure our offers and messaging are relevant and motivating.
  • Manage initiatives such as new offers and product propositions, as well as above-the-line and below-the-line campaigns to enhance our brand positioning.
  • Monitor customer metrics and budgets to ensure objectives are met and provide a strong return on investment.
  • Collaborate with key agency partners to deliver high-quality marketing activities.
  • Embrace a test-and-learn approach to optimise marketing strategies.


​This is a permanent full-time position with hybrid working conditions, available at any of our IAG offices across New Zealand, with a preference for those located in Auckland.

​To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you the following skills and experience:

 

  • Insightful - ability to build deep understanding of customers, competitors and market to unlock opportunities using both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Ability to influence colleagues’ and customers’ thinking and behaviors by providing fresh and meaningful insights.
  • Proven project management skills with a track record of successful marketing initiatives.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to analyze customer and business metrics and provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Enables supplier partners to deliver their best work by setting clear expectations and providing quality feedback.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Agile and adaptable to change with a proactive mindset.
  • 5+ years marketing or related business experience.
