Auckland Council's Building Consents provide local and regional building consenting services to ensure Auckland has safe and sustainable buildings.
We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader to join our team in central Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for managing functional data sets and related dependencies across our end-to-end processes. This role involves working with a team that handles automation exceptions and ensures data integrity. You will play a crucial role in enabling the delivery of quality outcomes, driving SLAS, and building and motivating a high-performing cross-functional team.

You are someone who is resilient with sound experience in the regulatory field with a strong focus on customer-centric delivery and providing first-rate customer service.
You will be able to view the business as an integrated whole, rather than a separate discipline and apply this thinking to problem-solving and business improvement. You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and have a passion for building a future for Auckland.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 7 years of experience in a business administration, Customer Services, or Regulatory environment, with 3 to 4 years having been in a leadership capacity. A relevant qualification in business administration or similar area would be an advantage. Your ability to recognise problems, identify the cause and develop and implement solutions will be the key to this role. Previous demonstrated experience in process improvement and translation of policy into the operational process would also be advantageous for this role.

Salary range $85,782 – $98,000 (depending on skillset and experience)
Our employer Kiwisaver contribution is additional to base salary offered.
