Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

Campus Life, Accommodation is looking for 13x Senior Residents | Kainoho Matua to join the team from November 2024 until February 2025.

Senior Resident | Kainoho Matua is a live-in, fixed-term, part-time role designed to connect, support, and engage with our residents who will be here over the summer. This role is key in ensuring that we continue to deliver excellent pastoral care over the summer months. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining some event and pastoral care experience, and still having the flexibility to enjoy other summer pursuits. This role is entirely focused on supporting residents and connecting them with services.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Good personal boundaries and time management
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound judgement
  • The ability to engage over Christmas and New Years

This is a live-in position, paying 5-hours a week at $26.25 an hour. Successful candidates will need to commit to the position for the entire duration of the contract. Candidates will need to be available for flexible working hours during weekdays, weekends, and public holidays to engage with residents.
