Job Description
About the role
Reporting to the production foreman, you will be one of a small team of Electrical Testers within a larger team of assembly workers at our Auckland site, responsible for manufacturing and assembling HVAC Units. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours are 6.45am to 3.15pm giving you great work/life balance. Your tasks will include:
- Assemble and construct electrical control assemblies, including fitting control boxes and wiring as per schematics.
- Inspect and certify units to meet quality standards, recording test results in a traceable format.
- Ability to fault find where unit testing standards are not met.
- Work flexibly across all production areas to provide necessary coverage.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role
- Hold a valid NZ EST (Electrical Service Technician) license
- Will consider TLC license holders but priority to EST license holders
- Understanding of electrical and workplace safe work practices
- 3 years work experience as an Electrical Tester
- 1 – 3 years in manufacturing industry
