As a Wellbeing & Safety Advisor, you will add value to the employee experience by providing your expert knowledge, guidance, and coaching to our managers and employees on complex health, safety and wellbeing related cases, ensuring ANZ meets its obligations in New Zealand and the Pacific.

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like

In this role, you are responsible for:

 

  • Providing expert advice for illness and injury cases, including psychological cases.
  • Create and navigate tailored solutions for nuanced cases, escalating unresolved cases where necessary.
  • Provide advice and assistance to your assigned portfolio on Health, Safety and Wellbeing risk and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external organisations in the Health, Safety and Wellbeing industry.
  • Ensuring Health, Safety and Wellbeing framework in New Zealand (and Pacific) continues to meet legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with a close, diverse team to problem solve and achieve positive outcomes

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role we require experience in Injury and Illness Management. You will also ideally bring the following:

 

  • Experience in Injury Management at a senior level, including management of complex psychological and physical conditions
  • Experience in the ACC partnership programme
  • Proven experience in claims and injury management
  • Experience in supporting management of mental health cases
  • High level of understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements pertinent to the role and a well-developed network of Injury Management, Rehabilitation and legal providers
  • Strong planning and organisation capabilities, and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience and success building strong and collaborative working relationships
  • Tertiary qualification in a Health-related discipline, preferred but not essential
