The opportunity:

  • Are you interested in international tax and looking for an opportunity to join a high-performing team?  Transfer pricing is one of the most topical, controversial and challenging fields within tax and KPMG is looking for tax professionals with an interest in transfer pricing to join our expanding practice. 
  • Ideally we're looking for someone to apply fresh and innovative thinking to complex cross-border arrangements in order to add value to our clients. You'll have four or more years of transfer pricing or international tax experience.
  • This opportunity is open to foreign candidates where they meet the experience requirements.

Day to day you will:

  • Assist with dispute resolution and APA applications, including preparing submissions and responses to Inland Revenue.
  • Collaborate within the international KPMG network to provide holistic transfer pricing advice that addresses multi-jurisdictional requirements.
  • Meeting with clients to understand their business, their transfer pricing needs and potential risk exposures.
  • Preparation of transfer pricing reports and analyses - complying with New Zealand legislation and reflecting international guidelines.
  • Assist senior team members manage client relationships, responding to all client queries in an effective and timely manner.
  • Expand transfer pricing knowledge through learning and adaptation as appropriate.

What you'll bring to our team:

  • Four or more years of tax experience in a professional services environment.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. degree in accounting, finance, international business, economics or law).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
