Senior Programme Advisor – Programme Investment Management Office

About the team
MSD’s Programme Investment Management Office is responsible for leading the strategic management of MSD’s programmes of work.
The Programme Investment Management Office is a team of trusted experts and advisors, offering support and assurance to MSD in change investment, value delivery, and sponsoring effective ways of working for change delivery.
About the Role
The role ensures a consistent fit for purpose approach to benefit/value management is applied across programmes and projects, enabling value realisation to be optimised from MSD’s investment in change.
This is a key advisory role, which also provides expertise in quality review of programme and project business cases to support governance decisions.
You must have experience working in a large portfolio/programme, facilitating benefit/value management processes, and undertaking quality review to support programme and project investment decisions.
You will do this by
• partnering with programme/project delivery leads to facilitate value identification and profiling
• gathering data and insight to aggregate, assess and report on value and delivery progress
• supporting programme/project business case development to meet quality requirements for governance decision making
• undertaking quality assurance and encouraging a data-led, transparent culture
• increasing stakeholder understanding, and ensuring tools and guides are applied and continue to meet needs
About you
• experience working in a large portfolio or programme environment
• experience in business case development and benefit/value management
• knowledge and experience in providing advisory services
• excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
• an understanding of the government and public sector environment, systems, processes and strategic risks and issues facing government and the Ministry

Position Description
Salary range: $102,533.00 - $124,402.00
