Wesco Anixter NZ (formerly Atlas Gentech) are seeking a National Sales Manager NZ to lead our Communications & Data business unit. In this role, you will report to the Director of Sales. 

Your primary responsibilities are:

  • Meet Sales and GP budgets for the brands and product lines in your portfolio.
  • Assist with the introduction and ongoing sales of WESCO/ANX solutions into the Atlas Gentech customer base, as relevant, for both existing and new brands.
  • Project Manage and/or assist in the training of AG team members and partners for Data and Communication project solution design, installation and commissioning. 
  • Manage sales team input and optimise national sales pipeline for growth, value and accuracy.
  • Assist in the generation of new business within the National Regional Territory – both within and externally of the existing customer base.
  • Grow customer base adoption of Atlas Gentech solutions including vendor certification.
  • Successfully manage relationships within the existing reseller channel.
  • Work closely with the Marketing department, Director of Brands,  and Director of Sales, to create brand marketing strategies, content and promotional activity.  
  • Manage sales team input and accuracy of CRM and activity data.
  • Achieve individual budgets for national sales team members.
  • Develop capability of sales team.
  • Successfully manage key relationships within the existing reseller channel.
  • Demonstrate and articulate the benefits of Atlas Gentech solutions to both reseller and end user partners, existing and new.
  • Assist with the introduction and ongoing sales of WESCO/ANX solutions into Atlas Gentechs customer base, existing and new, as required by the Director of Sales.
  • Attend Company expos and events as required by Atlas Gentech.
  • Attend Customer expos and events.
  • Management of personal and team member Loan Account of company products.
  • Management of team member expenses.
  • Report on competitor activity within the territory.
  • Assist with selling current stock and clearing discontinued products as requested by Atlas Gentech management.
