Job Description

What you’ll be doing

Join the Manapouri Maintainer Team and work alongside some extremely talented and dedicated individuals. You’ll need to be able to turn your hand to all types of general mechanical cleaning and maintenance duties, ensuring our hydro assets are kept in top condition.

In this varied role, you could find yourself assisting with minor repairs both on the generation plant and on the site facilities, and doing regular machine cleans to ensure effective running of the sites. You may also find yourself outside tidying up the lawns and gardens for the day, and taking care of outdoor maintenance and cleaning needs etc. No two days will be the same!

What you’ll bring

• Experience working in an industrial or commercial cleaning environment
• Safety first attitude with great communication skills
• Full drivers’ licence
• Happy to do mechanical cleaning as part of your role
• Comfortable working in restricted spaces and at heights
• Previous experience in the electricity industry is preferable, however not essential
