About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up to become a key member of our Transport Team. We are on the hunt for a skilled and experienced Supervisor with expertise in pavements. This role is responsible for providing hands-on, on-site supervision for pavement crews. You will ensure that assigned work is done within a given timeframe, and that it exceeds client expectations and reaches Ventia’s commercial targets. You will work with stakeholders such as Auckland Transport, the local councils, and subcontractors.
Activities carried out under this role are primarily Civil Roading Maintenance work under our Transport Infrastructure team in Henderson.
About you
- Knowledge and experience as a leading hand or other team/crew leadership role
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in roading (pavement or sealing preferred)
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand health and safety standards and a strong commitment to upholding these standards
- Full New Zealand Class 1 Drivers Licence
