About the Role
This is an exciting and diverse role where no two days are the same! Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for providing plumbing, gas and drainage repairs and maintenance to Wanganui Hospital. The scope of plumbing works includes repairs and maintenance, change outs, new installations and preventative maintenance.
About You
• Registered and licensed plumber
• 5 years post trade experience in a Commercial/Industrial environment
• Previous experience working in a building maintenance position involving large volumes of asses and programmed servicing schedules
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Experience working at heights, in ceiling spaces and under floors and equipment
• Dealing with unexpected events and providing direction to work for teams
• The undertaking of schedule maintenance, first response, and reactive activities in order to mitigate disruption to the patients activities
