This pivotal role is an integral part of our esteemed Global Finance team, dedicated to orchestrating and optimising the robust financial management strategies specifically tailored for FNZ APAC's business sphere. Operating within the framework of a fast-growing company, this position calls for a highly skilled individual who is adept at handling diverse challenges with efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ownership of the customer invoicing process, including:
- Read the customer contract to understand the requirements
- Communicate with sales and operation team to obtain information
- Issue customer invoice from the finance system
- Answer queries from external and internal stakeholders
Review the work of the Finance assistant and approve/post journals in the finance system, including payments, vendor invoice, bank reconciliation etc.
Review payroll prepared by HR-payroll team and external service provider
Ownership of the salary allocation process, including:
- Work closely with PMO on the timesheet process and act as the main
contact from finance perspective
- Compile reports for management review
- Perform salary costs allocation to department and projects
- Provide inputs to process improvement opportunities
Assist the Senior Financial Accountant in month-end tasks, including:
- Recharge invoice preparation
-Intercompany invoice issuance
- Roll forward revenue workbooks
- Intercompany reconciliation
Assist with audit, statutory reporting and tax return when required
Mange TB of the small entities in APAC, as well as lodgment of regulatory financial reports for the regulatory entity in Singapore
What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?
CA qualified or well progressed through NZICA requirements.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Financial Accounting role or similar.
Previous experience in an Auditing or Business Advisory role within a CA firm or Financial / Management Accounting experience within a large corporate would be an advantage
Strong MS Excel skills, attention to detail and experience using accounting systems (Microsoft Navision or Dynamic 365 experience an advantage).
The ability to solve problems independently and deal with complex challenges in a fluid environment.
Strong relationships manager with the ability to influence at all levels.
The ability to maintain high performance in a dynamic environment and to respond constructively and proactively to various business challenges
